When you are following a car that is going the speed limit, it is not ok to come up within 5 feet behind them and begin to weave in and out like Nascar cars before they are going to start a race.
TN drivers fail #1.
So I’ve decided to take this blog on a new direction for a while and see how it goes.
As you can see above, the subtitle of this blog is “I love Jesus, but I hate TN drivers.” So just to get out some frustrations, I wanted to share some true actual stories. Starting with this one.
The other day I was driving through one of the neighborhoods by my house and I came up to a stop sign. Now the road is a tricky one, like I have drawn below. Both sets of traffic don’t have a stop sign, but it’s close to a 90 degree turn so there is a good chance that both cars from each direction will come to almost a complete stop.
So I pulled up behind a black Mercedes and we sat there. And cars were coming, so I wasn’t getting upset or angry, but we sat there. And we sat there and kept sitting there…probably for a non exaggerated 10 minutes. During all of this, he had about 5 or 6 legitimate changes to go. I mean cars were well away from the turn, people we’re actually using their turn signals to show that they were turning. He could have went multiple times.
Now I totally understand that it can be tricky because both cars don’t have a stop sign. But before I knew it, I looked behind me and there was a line of about 20 cars behind me. At this point I started to get a little upset and was about to get out of my car and go knock on the window and tell the person when they should go….but I didn’t.
So we sat there some more and what happened? The guy ended up pulling out right in front of a car and almost got hit….
Now you can see my frustration with TN drivers…
